Statistics: Russia’s industrial output falls 3.6% on year in Oct

MOSCOW, Nov 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s industrial output fell 3.6% on the year in October and 3.3% on the year in January–October, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement Tuesday.

Industrial output adjusted for seasonal factors decreased 0.1% on the month in October against a 0.6% growth in September.

The output of mineral resources increased 1.4% on the year in October, the manufacturing industry output fell 5.9%, and production and distribution of power, gas and water decreased 3.6% in the period.

In September, industrial output declined 3.7% on the year, and in January–September, it fell 3.2% on the year.
